Are Nixing teapots safe for making tea?
Yes. Nixing pottery is fired without glaze and without any additives — no chemicals, no toxins. The natural clay retains beneficial trace minerals and is completely safe for brewing tea.
Why is every piece slightly different?
Every piece is hand-thrown, hand-carved and fired individually. During firing, natural minerals create the famous Nixing “kiln transformation” — subtle shifts of bronze, crimson and charcoal. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, which is part of their charm.
How do I care for my new teapot?
Season a new pot by boiling it in clean water for 5–10 minutes, then simmering with a little tea for 5 minutes. After every use, rinse with warm water and let it dry fully. See our About page for the full guide.
Orders & Shipping
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes — we ship to over 30 countries via DHL, UPS, EMS, ePacket and China Post. Delivery to the US and Europe typically takes 6–12 business days with courier services.
Is shipping really free?
Orders over $200 (US), $150 (Southeast Asia) and $250 (other countries) ship free via economy airmail. Couriers like DHL/UPS are faster and carry a calculated fee at checkout. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Every order is shipped with a tracking number, which we email to you as soon as your parcel is handed to the carrier.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal, credit/debit cards, bank transfer and Western Union. Orders are processed once full payment is confirmed.
Returns
What is your return policy?
You can return unused items in their original condition within 60 days of delivery for a full refund. Custom-engraved and OEM items are non-returnable unless damaged or defective.
My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs.
Wholesale & OEM
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes. Contact us at info@gxnixingpottery.com when your teaware order exceeds $5,000 or your tea order exceeds $200 for a custom quote.
Can I order a sample first?
Absolutely. Order samples at retail price from any product page. When you place a qualifying wholesale order, your samples are credited at wholesale price.
Do you do custom engraving or OEM?
Yes — we welcome OEM/ODM wholesale orders, dropshipping arrangements, and hand-carved words and pictures for corporate gifts, teams and personalized pieces. Visit our Custom & OEM page for details.
